The little sneak knows a good comfy couch when she sees one!! I put a sheet on the couch to keep the couch clean so she could sleep. This is what I found a few minutes ago… too smart and too sneaky!

Lap Dogs
Was feeling under the weather for a few days - but it’s hard not to perk up when these three are around! (R)Rocky, (M)Reagan, and (L) B.B. the borrowed boxer, make me all better!
I swear Reagan thinks he still weighs 8 lbs instead of 80 lbs.

I started sketching recently as a way to relax and wind down at the end of the day and also to keep my granddaughter amused while she visits. I’m working on cartoons, caricatures, and a few animals - and lots of sponge bobs. This was my first attempt at sketching Rocky - one of our two and half boxers. I hope to improve and come back and do it again some day to see how much I improve, but my first attempt is pretty good, I think.
So yeah, went to the beach over the weekend. Four days of stuffing my face and belly with everything imaginable. It seemed good going down and I mean I woofed it down!!!, but afterwards I was miserable with all that bloat and indigestion. I drank wayyyyy too much beer and alcoholic drinks in general. AND all it got me was a larger spare tire around my middle. Sometimes I could just shoot myself for being so dumb!
This week I’m trying to do better. Back to journaling every single thing that goes into my mouth - whether it be liquid or solid. I promise myself to get out with the boys and B.B. and do a better job of working up a sweat. I have a built in exercise program with three rambunctious boxers and surely I can capitalize on that and get myself back to a reasonable weight AGAIN.

B.B. (the Borrowed Boxer) has on her Team Candice shirt for the fundraiser for her human mom this past Saturday. The Helping Hand Poker Run - Team Candice was a huge success!!! A horrific car accident left Candice a quadriplegic on March 30th of this year and I have had the pleasure of having B.B. at my farm with my two boxer boys, Rocky & Reagan. She was able to visit with Brayden (B.B.) on Saturday after the poker run and B.B. showered her face wtih kisses upon kisses upon kisses. Nearly 3 months of not seeing each other brought tears to my eyes and I’m so relieved that they were finally reunited - even if only for a short time. B.B. gets to stay on the farm with us for a while longer while Candice continues to adjust to her new life. If you see a fundraiser for a paralyzed victim, please share your good fortune to help that person regain some semblance of a normal life through medical equipment or life adjusting needs. It’s so worth it!!!
